Legislative Lunch and Learn event at the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum on Route 66. Museum founder and Board president Ron Romero and Debyjo Ericksen Vice Chair, Board of Directors, Director of Operations & Tours hosted attendees on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the museum located at 9 W. Cass St. in Downtown Joliet. Participants heard about the great progress the Museum has made since its inception in 2017, and they took a tour of the facility and enjoyed a nice lunch while hearing what is to come for the future of the museum. The event included federal, state and local legislators, including Greg Bales, senior advisor to Senator Richard Durbin and 49th District State Senator Meg Loughran Cappel among others. The Illinois Route 66 Scenic Byway was represented by Assistant Director Geoff Ladd and Business Management Intern Maria Sorto.
